Conformance

We built this website to meet the success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. In particular:

  • Every page can be operated with the keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
  • A skip link at the very top bypasses the navigation.
  • All text reaches a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 in both light and dark appearance. The outlines of input fields and buttons reach at least 3 to 1, and the focus ring exceeds 14 to 1.
  • Every image has a text alternative.
  • Headings form an unbroken outline with no skipped levels.
  • The page can be enlarged to 400 per cent without losing content.
  • Form fields are tied to their labels; errors are stated in words, not by colour alone.
  • Anyone who has asked for reduced motion sees no animation.
  • The pages work fully without JavaScript. It only powers the appearance switch and the highlighting in the table of contents.

Why we do this voluntarily

Kunert UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is a micro-enterprise under Section 3 (3) of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), which implements the European Accessibility Act, and is exempt from its requirements for services. We meet them anyway, because an accessible website is easier for everyone to use.

Known limitations

  • Content we merely link to — the Apple App Store in particular — is outside our control.
  • The game boards are graphics. Their text alternatives describe what they are but do not reproduce every single shape — the game itself is a visual one.
  • The app is not covered by this statement. It follows the accessibility features of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS.

How this statement was prepared

Prepared on 1 August 2026 by self-assessment: keyboard operation, measured colour contrast for every individual text element in both appearances, and automated inspection of the markup. No third-party audit has taken place.
